Twist on Sudoku,  The SudokoTM Mayhem Puzzles

The puzzles are a smart twist on classic Sudoku puzzles, designed to be more challenging to solve. Instead of dividing the 9×9 grid into the traditional nine 3×3 regions, the grid is divided into different rectangular regions of varying sizes. These regions do not overlap and together cover the entire 9×9 grid.

All regions are rectangular, and every puzzle is solved using a combination of row, column, and region logic.

The standard Sudoku rules for rows and columns still apply: each row and each column must contain the numbers 1 through 9 exactly once.

The region rules are different. Each region must contain complete sets of the numbers 1 through 9 based on the size of the region. The number of cells in a region must be divisible by 9. Therefore, a region must contain the numbers 1–9 repeated exactly:

A 3×6 region contains 18 cells, so it must contain two complete sets of the numbers 1–9.

A 3×9 region contains 27 cells, so it must contain three complete sets of the numbers 1–9.

A 6×6 region contains 36 cells, so it must contain four complete sets of the numbers 1–9.
